Whole Rhythms: Djembe, Dunun & Solo Series at Centennial Park

It is estimated that the djembe drum is 400-800 years old. While its origins are West African, it has become popular around the globe. As stated by Science Daily, "Group drumming stimulates behavioral and physiological synchronization that contribute to the formation of social bonds..." This class is an extension of Djembe Basics. It's for experienced djembe students. In this series, you will learn all of the parts of a rhythm, and get inside the logic and feel of each rhythm. Drums are provided for use in the classes and are available to purchase.
