Sometimes, in rhythm and in life, we have to step back before we move forward. We may think we’re further along than we are, and returning to the basics becomes the doorway to real progress.
This class blends elements of drum meditation, West African rhythmic traditions, and improvised musical expression. Through sound, movement, and repetition, we explore rhythm as active group meditation—using the African concept of polyrhythm to hold multiple patterns, sensations, and perspectives at once.
We’ll observe.
We’ll feel.
We’ll listen—without judgment.
All levels welcome.
Drums provided or bring your own.
