In this online class, you will gain new skills while having fun playing West African rhythms, breaks and accompaniments. This class aims to be accessible to a complete beginner while presenting new skills that can help an experienced player improve. We will play rhythms, breaks and accompaniments as taught by master drummers, Mamady Keita, Famoudou Konate and Bolokada Conde.

All you need is a djembe and internet connection. To take the experience to the next level, use headphones, use a laptop or desktop plugged into the Ethernet. Set up Zoom for playing and listening to music (we will help with the settings).
