Bolokada is one of the greatest Djembefolas and teachers in the world. His patience, passion, and precision make him one of the most sought-after and legendary teachers. His love for his Malinke culture and his students is remarkable. Students are changed forever as they enter the Bolokada workshop and practice and discover the magnificent depth and complexity of Malinke music and folklore.

The Online Djembe Extravaganza is three online classes Friday through Sunday. One each day. Reserve via Eventbrite for your spot.

Early Bird: $75 for three online classes (Early Bird ENDS September 16th) Prices after September 16th are $90 for three online classes.

“You will learn the Malinke djembe rhythm and accompaniment on the sangban, kenkeni, and dundunba, plus solo technique… and the story of the rhythm and why we play each song.” –Bolokada

For this online class, a link will be sent after registration. For the best experience, we recommend using headphones and plugging in directly into a computer’s ethernet. We will provide each student with a class video and a play-along track.
