Djembe players from from across the globe you are invited to learn djembe from one of the greatest living djembe players in the world!

Bolokada is one of the greatest Djembefolas and teachers in the world. His patience, passion, and precision make him one of the most sought-after and legendary teachers. His love for his Malinke culture and his students is remarkable. Students are changed forever as they enter the Bolokada workshop and practice and discover the magnificent depth and complexity of Malinke music and folklore. “You will learn the Malinke djembe rhythm and accompaniment on the sangban, kenkeni, and dundunba, plus solo technique… and the story of the rhythm and why we play each song.” –Bolokada We will provide each student with a video of the class and a play-along track.
